Native Wisconsin is made up of 11 sovereign Tribal nations. It is the largest concentration of Tribes in any state east of the Mississippi River. Each Tribe is a sovereign nation that abides by its own Constitution.

This episode of Mad Dog & Merrill was filmed during the 30th Annual NATOW Conference that highlighted Indigenous foods from Forest County Potawatomi, Sokaogon Chippewa Community, Red Cliff Fish Company, Oneida Nation and even spirits (alcohol) from Copper Crow Distillery in Red Cliff. They also talk about their stay at the Bad River Casino and travels to the other tribes.
