Red Cliff’s 40th Annual Pow Wow

$7.00Red Cliff Band of Lake Superior Chippewa Nation Hosts their Annual Gathering every year in July of each year. This year the gathering will take place on July 6th-7th-8th, 2018. This is open to the public and visitors are welcome to come be apart of this celebration here on the Red Cliff Nation. This years Host Drum is Young Spirit Singers from Frog Lake- Alberta, Canada. They will be bringing there Northern style singing to the shores of Lake Superior for all to enjoy. Royalty activities will take place on July 6th, 2018 along with drum warm ups. Grand Entries are Saturday (July 7th) at 1 pm & 7 pm and Sunday (July 8th) at 1 pm. Main Feast will take place on Saturday at 5 pm. Button prices are $7.00 for the weekend (Elders 55+ & Youth 5 and under are FREE) There will be a number of arena activities throughout the weekend; Youth & Adult Hand Drum Contest, Men’s Woodland & Women’s Jingle Contest and many more. Red Cliff Pow Wow grounds is located north of the Legendary Waters Resort & Casino Facility on Hwy 13- Across from the Red Cliff Community Health Center.
